This is my second Anne Mallory book, and while it was enjoyable I didn't really connect with the characters. It seemed as though the class difference wasn't much of issue as it should have been. I could be wrong. Plus, a event happens in the story that leads one to believe there will be a villian or some intrigue. Nope. Overall, I give this book a C.
