Sins of the Heart - Eve Silver Very good urban fantasy with an interesting plot and satisfying romance! Three soul reaper brothers and sons of Sutekh are searching the people responsible for the murder of their youngest brother. Dagan is the brother featured in this story.

Roxy Tam is a Daughter of Aset, which is also an enemy of Sutekh, is on a mission to gather information on the soul reapers death, and to keep a young girl safe. Eleven years ago, Dagan saved her life and spared her soul, and since then they have had a connection and mutual fascination. They meet again and must make choices on whether to follow their heart.

The Otherin series blends Egyptian and Greek gods and lore, which was interesting to follow. The pacing could have been better. It was frustrating when a critical point in the plot stopped and a subplot unfolded, not unlike little cliffhangers. This continued throughout the book, but fortunately reading J.R. Ward's writing helped me adapt. Overall, Sins of the Heart is a worthy read for urban fantasy fans who like some steamy romance integrated with their story.
